FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WAITLIST AND HOW IT WORKS
If the class you’d like to take is full, do not fear. I highly suggest getting on our waitlist. To do so, you must have a class or series purchased in your account. If you do not get the spot in that class, your “account” will be credited. If a spot opens, you will automatically be added to the class and you will receive an email confirmation : ) If you receive this email and your schedule changes you must remove yourself from the waitlist within the 12 hour window. Please take note, if you are added to the class and fail to remove yourself in time, you will loose that class credit. The waitlist closes 12 hours prior to that class start time.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE BEFORE MY CLASS?
We recommend that you arrive 5 min prior to class start. However, if this is your very first visit to Catwalkfitness, you should arrive 15 minutes early to meet, greet, check out our studio and purchase grip socks (if you do not have).
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Wear comfy work out attire that allows your body to move freely, such as tank and leggings. Grip Socks are required and must be worn during all of our Mega Classes. Don’t have grip socks? No worries. We have a selection of colors and sizes available at the studio.
DO YOU OFFER MONTHLY UNLIMITED MEGA CLASSES?
YES! Monthly memberships are available. You can book up to 1 class a day, everyday! This membership will auto renew every month. Please note that if you are on this monthly membership and do not show up for your scheduled class or cancel less than than the 12 hour cancelation policy, you will incur a $30 fee.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TAKE CLASSES?
I am going to be blunt ….. this class is CHALLENGING and is designed to work your body to muscle fatique, therefore recovery time is needed. Want to see results fast? We recommend 3 – 4 times week. You will literally watch your waistline shrink.. However, everybody’s fitness level is different, therefore, listen to your body and find a schedule that works best for you
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST CLASS?
Don’t be surprised if you are confused. Really, do not expect to “get it” the first time around. I assure you that it will take 4 – 5 classes before you begin to feel comfortable with the verbage, queing and flow of Catwalk Classes.
WHO CAN TAKE CATWALKFITNESS CLASSES?
Although this workout is demanding, all exercises can be modified by simply adjusting springs or body positioning. Consequently, all levels are welcome!
DO I NEED TO TAKE A PRIVATE SESSION FIRST?
All Catwalkfitness classes are designed for group classes. All of our Instructors are trained to teach to the most advanced client while being able to modify for a “newbie”. However, if you have specific medical conditions or choose to perfect a specific move, it is recommended to take a private session. Private sessions are available based on studio and instructor availability.
WILL I LOOSE MY SPOT IF I ARRIVE LATE TO CLASS?
Yes. As a courtesy to other clients as well as respect for your instructor, it is very important to arrive promptly. There will be times that a client will “drop in” even if a class is full to see if someone doesn’t show. If you do not arrive within 10 minutes of the scheduled class time, your class can be given to someone ready and waiting.
